CIS112 - Systems Analysis and Design

Credits: 3

Catalog Description: Studies the current techniques of system analysis specification, selection, and implementation. Includes the effective use and management of hardware, software and data processing in meeting the information needs of today's business enterprise. Spring only. Prerequisite: CIS125.

Lecture: 3 hrs.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):
Upon the successful completion of this course, a student will be able to:
1.List the advantages and disadvantages of differing information gathering methods
2.Create user interface prototypes of specified software
3.Design a functional computer system
4.Create a Gantt chart to show how to keep track of a project schedule
5.Create a relational database
