Guest & Visitors Policy

Each resident’s right to sleep and study comes before the privilege to have a guest or visitor. You are responsible for discussing plans for guests/visitors with your roommates prior to bringing someone to campus and into the apartment.

If you have any guests/visitors staying or arriving past quiet hours you must sign-in with them at the Safety Office with upon arrival. You may have up to 2 guests/visitors at a time. You may have an overnight guest stay for up to 2 nights and 3 days within a 10 day period. Overnight guests are not permitted for the first and last 2 weeks of the semester. You are responsible for staying with your guests/visitors at all times, the actions of your guests/visitors, and informing them of campus policies. You may not leave your guests/visitors in your apartment when you are not present (while you are in class, at work, to get your laundry, etc.). All guests must have valid photo ID to sign-in and provide to staff when asked.

  • Sign-in at the Safety Office FIRST upon arrival and again before leaving the property.
  • Get a visitor parking pass if needed.
  • Provide valid photo ID at sign-in and anytime asked by CV staff.
  • Failure to comply with any CV or GCC policies will result in being banned from CV property.

Each College Village apartment has a full kitchen for students to cook, entertain, and share meals which suit their own dietary needs and tastes. On campus the College has food plan options for students and staff.  Students may choose to purchase from a variety of meal plans and declining balance options. To lean more, visit the American Dining Services page.

You won't have to trek to a Laundromat in town or take clothes home to wash them. You'll find FREE laundry machines right here on campus! All you need to do is provide your own laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and a clothesbasket.

Don’t know how to do laundry? Check out this short video to learn how.

When you move into College Village, you will be assigned a free mailbox. Mailboxes are located in the Root, our student study and lounge space in the basement of Hemlock Hall (K building). Check your mailbox regularly for mail, flyers, important notices, and package slips which you can bring to the RA office to retrieve any large deliveries with your photo ID. If you forget your mailbox number, visit the office for assistance.
