Please visit Coronavirus (COVID-19) GCC Response Information for details on current operations.
Orientation Leaders (OLs) are current students who work over the summer as GCC ambassadors assisting with summer orientation programs for first-time or transfer students, and their parents & family members. OLs continue to serve throughout the year as mentors and share their experience as successful students to aid in the transition process for incoming students.
Being an OL is just one of the many facets of our newly created Campus Ambassador position! The Campus Ambassador position is a very unique, rotating experience that aims at developing the leadership and professional qualities of paraprofessionals. By becoming an OL and soon after transitioning to Campus Ambassadors, paraprofessionals will be able to assist students throughout their collegiate experience in various ways through various departments.
By becoming a Campus Ambassador, you will work within the following offices:
- Office of Student Engagement & Inclusion (SEI)
- The Student Success Center (SSC)
