Tutoring for all GCC students is available free of charge by both professional and peer tutors. Below are the descriptions and a schedule for tutoring offered at the Batavia campus. Each campus center also offered tutoring, students interested in tutoring at a campus center should contact them for the schedule. Some in-person tutors also offer tutoring via Zoom webconference. Check the Tutoring area in MyGCC for links.

For students in any math course above, and including, MAT-102: Professional and student math tutors are available on a drop-in basis in the Math Learning Center - D360. Assistance with MAT091 and 092 (HAWKES) is available in D210 and B307. One-on-one math tutoring is also available to students, email firstname.lastname@example.org from your GCC account.
Professional and peer tutors are available by appointment to assist students with all writing assignments in D207. Tutors in the Library are available on a drop-in basis. Tutoring is also available by submitting papers via your GCC email account to email@example.com. Tutors will review papers during posted tutoring hours.
Tutorial assistance for Spanish and French is available in the Language Lab - A312. Please see the Language Tutoring page for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Online tutoring is available for select courses and disciplines via STAR-NY. Please see the Online Tutoring page for more information, or contact the Online Learning Office at GCCOnline@Genesee.edu for assistance.
Science Resource Room
The Science Resource Room is located in D300. Tutors for biology, chemistry, and physics are available on a drop-in basis. In addition to tutoring, models, computers, and microscopes are available for student use.
A workspace with computers is available in the Tutoring Center, room D209 Log in to Tutor Trac to see the current tutoring schedule. You can find instructions for how to use Tutor Track in by logging in to myGCC and looking at the Tutoring Module.
STAR-NY offers online tutoring for most subjects Sunday-Thursday 7pm-12am. For more information, see the STAR-NY website.
