October 9, 2020

GCC’s Inclusive Excellence Committee, the Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion and the GCC Library invite you to participate in the Richmond Reads community one-book program!

The goal of the program sponsored by the Richmond Memorial Library in Batavia is for the community to join together in reading the chosen title, and then to participate in subsequent discussions and programs. This year’s book is Nothing More Dangerous by Allen Eskens. The author will be visiting Richmond Library virtually on Thursday, October 22 at 7 pm, and the GCC community has been invited to participate. Attendees will need to register with Richmond Library ahead of time to get the zoom information. (This form includes an area for submitting a question for the author.)
GCC has also established a GCC Reads book discussion group on the community book sharing and reading website, Goodreads.
Sign up at goodreads.com and find GCC Reads under Groups. See Discussions and Events for more information. GCC Reads will continue in spring 2021 with a college-wide reading of The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.
